BIOGRAPHY

Kiana Simons was born in 1999 in Huron, South Dakota. In 2023, she received her BFA in Photography at the University of South Dakota. Simons has already been involved in various important exhibitions including her Graduation Exhibition at John A. Day Gallery in Vermillion, SD, and twice in the “Artists of the Prairie” featured in Hatterscheidt Wildlife Gallery at the Dacotah Prairie Museum in Aberdeen, SD. All shows feature at least one of her photographic prints. Following graduation, she continued her paid, photography internship with Sharing the Dream in Guatemala, interning abroad around Lake Atitlán, Guatemala. Currently, Simons lives in Plankinton, SD, and works as a Digital Marketing Creator in Mitchell, SD.
